FOREST RESTORATION
Forests will endure and expand if they have more value in their conservation and existence than in their exploitation. This value is in their immediate and persistent ability to stop and reverse climate change by directly taking CO2 out of the atmosphere. Focusing on businesses that restore forests can simultaneously conserve threatened biodiversity, improve the lives of poor people, and directly and effectively combat climate change.
