ECO2's renewable biomass fuel division sells a competitive product comparable to charcoal that is made from biomass waste. The primary waste is bagasse, a fibrous biomass resulting from the commercial production of sugar. This waste is carbonized in large kilns (see photo below) and pressed into a fine burning, renewable fuel called briquettes (see below). Briquettes are sold wholesale to vendors or retail to residential and commercial customers.
